Janessa's POV
We were finally done talking. But it didn't feel totally back to normal. Yet.
I had hurried back to my office with a sleazy excuse about Graham making corrections to the documents- delaying me.
Now I needed to see him.
I texted him around 4:49pm when he dropped me at my house after work.
*“Come over. It's a surprise. Around 11:30pm”
I didn't care.
We hadn't had a single alone time in ages. At this rate he'd turn into my father figure proper.
I wanted to make it up to him.
*“Graham: You still sure? Everything clear? Mums asleep?”
He texted now.
*“Me: Fast Asleep. Alesha?”
*“Graham: Long gone. I'm coming up.”
I looked around.
11:17pm. Locked door. Dark room.
Magenta strip lights. Warm blankets.
