CHAPTER 5; MEET AGAIN

1608 Words
Kira Albany, Los Angeles Steam curled around me as I stepped out of the bathtub, skin still damp, my towel wrapped around my body. Tiny droplets slid down from my hair to my collarbone as I walked the room, flipping on the television with the remote in passing. The brightness of the screen filled the room while I sat at the mirror by my bed, beginning the familiar pattern of my skincare routine. The news anchor’s voice broke the silence. “This is City News. Following the recent attacks that have been happening in Los Angeles for more than some years with no culprits apprehended. A group of civilians has come forward. They call themselves the Demon Hunters.” I paused, hand hovering midair with a bottle of serum. “According to their claim, they once captured a werewolf who had shifted into human form. When asked to shift back, he refused, even when tortured just before the point of death.” The newscaster’s tone had disbelief, the corners of her mouth twitching as though she wanted to laugh. “Others claim to have seen vampires. They described fangs, glowing red eyes, and unnatural speed whenever they were spotted.” Her lips move in faint chuckle, but she quickly composed herself. “The Demon Hunters are now calling on good citizens who wish to join them. The number and social media platforms to reach them are displayed on your screen.” The numbers rolled across the bottom of the broadcast. I leaned forward, snatched up my phone, and took a quick picture of the details. I turned off the television a moment later. I had not planned on watching it anyway. I thought maybe this demon hunters group could actually help me. Maybe they would be a key to controlling the werewolves once and for all. I dialed the number. The line rang, once, twice, then connected. Hello,” I said softly. “Hello,” said the voice at the other end, calm and polite. “I want to join the Demon Hunters.” My words were clear, sharp. My mind was already made up. That’s good to hear,” the receiver replied, his voice filled with excitement. “I’ll send you a link after this call. You will fill it carefully and when I review it, if everything is okay, I’ll contact you again and provide meeting times, locations, and further instructions.” He barely paused before continuing. “With the sudden increase in new members, there may be a gathering soon. If so, I’ll inform you right away.” “Alright it's fine ,” I muttered, pulling a deodorant from my drawer as if the call was another step in my nightly routine. When the line went dead, silence filled the room again. But under that silence was something else: a flicker of anticipation in my chest that I couldn’t quite shake. When the call ended, silence returned, but my chest was filled up with a secret anticipation. Vampire Dimitri’s Kingdom Far away, in a dark environment, another conversation continued. “It seems these humans are wise than I thought ” a low voice echoed from the darkness. “To think they have now realized all are not from thier kind but from a different creature. funny, isn’t it, my love?” I stood still, and then I replied with a calm but strong voice “funny or not, I’m grateful. As long as they’re useful to me, that’s all that matters.” A chuckle slipped from the darkness. “Ambitious, as always. Very well. Keep your eyes on everything. Trace their movements and report back to me.” The unknown voice stretched out a hand and offered me something wrapped in cloth. Slowly, I step forward and took it. Removed the cloth, and then I saw… a blade studded with luminous gems arranged in a sacred pattern. The Gemblade. a blade studded with luminous gems arranged in a sacred pattern. One attack with the Gemblade, and any vampire and werewolf would be destroyed and turn to dust. Without expressions, I lowered my head. “Yes, my lord.” While I held the weapon in my hand, I turned and left without looking back. Adraigo Alpha Agra’s Kingdom The night is strangely cold. I cannot sleep. Perhaps I will get some milk to help me rest. I get up from my bed and walk quietly down to the kitchen. The moment I step in, I am stunned .i see an ivory-skinned, white-haired lady by the kitchen island. She wears only a bikini, her light skin fat ass beautiful in the bikini pant In her hands is a jar of milk, which she is pouring a glass cup. Slowly, she turns around, and then… “Oh… my hazel eyes,” I breathe, a sigh of satisfaction and walk as fast as my legs can. She smiles, wrapping her hands gently around my shoulders. I hold her close, standing just ahead her. Her breasts rest firmly in her bikini bra, I observe skin just above her n*****s lightly, seductively pink. I lift her on the island, spreading and placing her legs on my shoulders. My hand slides downward, touching her coochie. My fingers reach to move aside her bikini pants exposing her p***y lips… immediately pain. A sharp fork pierces into my chest. “What do you want?” I gasp, my hands on the bleeding wound. I wake up. A dream again. It was already evening—my afternoon nap had lasted longer than I intended. Why does Hazel Eyes keep appearing… and why does she always end it by causing harm? While I'm thinking, I looked down and realized I was hard, fully erect. Quickly, I stood and walked to my closet, opening its doors, scaling through my clothes, my mind still thinking. It was time I myself go in search of my Hazel Eyes. Demon Hunters Club The hall was filled with whispering conversations, rows of chairs filled the environment. At the front, Mr. Fred, the leader of the Demon Hunters, stood tall in his sharp suit, his eyes sweeping over the crowd deeply. “We have spent over an hour welcoming you old and new members and talking about the situation affecting, LosAngeles,” he said, his voice calm but commanding. “Before we go any further, I want to ask, does anyone here doubt the existence of werewolves and vampires? Please raise your hand now.” A few hands were raised. Mr. Fred only nodded, almost as though expecting it. “Of course. Then allow me to show you proof.” The final recording drew gasps from the crowd werewolves coming out of an orphanage in Albany, their bodies stained with blood, their monstrous forms captured by the CCTV Murmurs spread all through the room Mr. Fred nodded his head. “I expected as much. Now,would you allow me to enlighten you?.” He pressed a button, and the projector whirred to life. On the screen, grainy footage appeared werewolves mid-shift, fangs sprouting it also showed vampires moving with inhuman speed, their eyes red. The final recording silenced the room: werewolves coming out from an orphanage in Albany, their bodies stained with blood, their monstrous forms the CCTV showed in detail this was the last recent attack Some gasped, Murmurs rose. Fred sighed heavily. “These recordings are real. But unfortunately, their human forms could not be captured. The distance, their transformations, it all worked against us.” He gaze deep at them. “That’s why my team and I have been developing equipment, tools to detect and terminate these creatures easily. Even those who may be hiding among us.” he said as he smiled very broadly Whispers started again but louder I sat silently, taking it all in. I sensed it and I could feel the werewolves in the room. I could see the vampires, hiding in plain sight. Both sides had come to spy, just as I had. Both wanted answers. Fred’s speech continued on, planning different tactics, equipments, expectations. But my thoughts were elsewhere, already making plans. Later That Night The city was quiet. My heels clicked softly as I walk toward my Tesla Model S, my dressing was black from head to toe, a briefcase swinging at my side. I was expressionless as I had been since that night i never want to remember. I slid into my driver’s seat, the leather cold against my skin. I shut the door, then I snap my seatbelt into place. My hand turned the ignition. But before I could move, a blinding headlights covered my windshield. A Tesla Cybertruck move to a halt, blocking my path. My jaw tightened. The door opened. A tall guy stepped out, with two others behind who carried an Anzio 20mm rifle. The first man approached my car with calm steps. He knocked lightly my window. I lowered it halfway. “I see you’ve got a Tesla too,” he said, smirking, his arms resting freely along the edge of my window as though this were some chance meeting. And then I saw him I stared at his face, a face I knew so well, those green eyes I never want to see sparkle, those lips I would never believe when they speak, the same person I aim to stop standing right before me every part of me could sense a disgust for him, my body flinched, my fingers squeezed, my teeth grinding, my eyes gazed at him ferociously He leaned closer, a smirk still on his lips. “Hello, Hazel Eyes,” Adraigo said.
