Diana sprinted after Sia, apologizing profusely, her footsteps quick and urgent.
"Sia, I'm sorry. Please wait up." Sia halted,spinning around with a glare, and stalked towards Diana, her words spilling out in an angry torrent.
"So now you change your seat position," she snapped, her voice low and venomous.
"Michael forced me to sit next to him. I tried coming to you, but he stopped me. When I got the chance to return to our seat, the professor threatened to send me to detention," Diana explained, her voice laced with frustration and desperation. Sia heaved a heavy sigh, her gaze piercing Diana before she turned and headed towards the cafeteria, her movements slow and deliberate. Diana trailed behind, trying to catch up.
"Have you forgiven me?" she asked, her voice tinged
