"I'm bored," Sia said out of the blue. Diana chuckled at her childish behavior.
Diana and Sia had a FaceTime conversation about the party, and their misunderstanding was cleared. They were seated in class while others took their seats, murmuring echoes filling the classroom as the professor walked in and the lesson began.
Each passing moment, Diana glanced at the front door, waiting for his appearance, but seconds passed into minutes, and still, there was no sign of him.
The professor left, and another came, but still, no sign of him. She signed out, wondering why he wasn't in class today.
"Maybe he's not in school," she mumbled, drawing Sia's attention to her.
"Who isn't in school?" Sia asked in a low tone, not wanting to draw the professor's attention.
"Huh?"
"Who wasn't in school...? Diana, are you talking about Michael?" Sia asked.
"No... no... come on, Sia, not everything is about Michael." Sia sighed.
"Okay, maybe I misheard."
"Yeah, because I didn't mention his name."
"But you were indirectly mentioning his name," Sia said, observing her friend's expression, which had been moody since morning.

"That's messed up, Michael.
“You were almost close to sleeping with her. Why the hell did you hold back?" Scott yelled in frustration. The boys weren't happy about the news Michael delivered to them.
He told them about two nights ago with Diana, and he even showed them the videos he took as evidence. According to him, nothing truly happened.
"Have you forgotten your promise to me, Michael? You swore you'd make that w***e suffer for the humiliation she caused me.You made us all quite the bet because you swore to handle her personally.
So why mess up when the opportunity is right in front of you?" Dave thundered, his temper showing no signs of stopping until he did something stupid.
"Still can't believe this," Joseph murmured, chuckling at the unbelievable act as he stared at Michael, who wasn't showing any reaction.
Michael was seated comfortably on his favorite black sofa, holding his cigarette in his right hand. "Are you all done?" Michael asked in a husky voice.
"Now let me ask you a question. If you were to take advantage of sleeping with a drugged female who has no idea what's happening, if you were to force yourself on her in such a state of ...in such a state of mind, to the extent of damaging her dignity, what would you be called?" He asked. Everyone became silent, having a quick thought about his question.
"Guys, Michael has a very good question here. Holding himself back was the best idea because, looking at what we're seeing in the video, Diana herself wasn't in her right senses.
If he had proceeded with the plan, his reputation would be at stake, especially his father's," said Jonson, trying to reason with them. Dave scoffed in annoyance.
"But when did Michael start caring about dignity? You never mentioned female dignity before, even when you slept with Zoya, when you slept with that Chinese girl, when you slept with Divine, when you slept with almost half of the females in school. You never mentioned dignity before, so why bring it up now?" Dave said.
Michael glared at him, tempted to lash out but restrained himself. "Her birthday awaits her destiny, Dave. Whatever thoughts you have, better kill them and have patience. By the way, I'll be leaving the country within a few months," Michael said, his expression unreadable.
All expressions changed to shock. Did they hear right?
"Why are you leaving the country?" Jayden asked for the first time. Jayden had been the quiet one among them, before Jonson.
Jayden wasn't part of the bet because he was known to be gay, so he limited himself from their activities.
Michael sighed, staring at nothing in particular. "Dad wants me to study in Italy, and being his sole heir to his throne, I have to handle some of his affairs," he murmured.
"We will miss you, pal," Dave said.
"When will you be back?" Johnson walked to him, resting his arms on his shoulder.
"No idea. All I know is that I'll be leaving in a few months," Michael replied, walking out of the green house and leaving the boys alone.
"That was unexpected," Scott chuckled.
"Yeah, I'll surely miss him," Jayden said, pouting out sadly. Dave glared at him, scoffing.
"Hello, Michael isn't gay, so don't go around looking gloomy," Dave said, gaining hard glances from Jayden.
"I may be gay, but that doesn't stop me from feeling sad about my friend. I'm not like someone who places bets on others just to win money.
You know what? I feel sorry for you all. Someday, one of you will suffer the consequences of the games you all keep playing," He said, standing on his feet and leaving the green house.
