“What a gorgeous view,” he said. “Here.” He tossed her a muffin. Toria peeled away the wrapper, ignoring the spray of crumbs. “Thanks. Glad you’re getting to enjoy it.” It was hard to tell against his dark skin, but she could see the trail of bite marks that disappeared into the neck of his T-shirt. She squashed an irrational surge of resentment before it could cross over the link. She wasn’t jealous, per se, and definitely not of Archer. But it had been a long time since she’d worn the content look on Kane’s face.
