"Yep," the boss said cheerfully. "We've been partnered with Bennett Group this whole time."
I froze.
Across from me, Zara looked just as stunned, so clearly this wasn't information she'd been given either.
"Alright, everybody start packing up. We're moving over there this afternoon."
"Boss..." I hesitated before forcing the words out. "I think I want to quit."
The smile on his face immediately narrowed into something far more calculating.
"Nora, you did read the contract before signing it, right? If you walk out early, there's a termination fee."
