We were sweating, excited and filled with unspent adrenalin and a release of the hormones our minds had been tricked into experiencing while stationary. I jumped up and grabbed two bottles of water from the small fridge. I handed one to Nina and went into the bathroom to compose myself. She knocked on the door a couple of minutes later. “Are you alright?” she asked. “Yeah, sure. I'll be out in a minute,” I responded. I had to calm down mentally and physically.
