Mistake

Juniel's POV

Early in the morning.

I woke up early as my daily routine, I made my way to the kitchen to prepare the breakfast of our Big boss.

But before I could go there, I heard noises outside. What was that? Groans and moans of pain. So I decided to go there and check it.

I was dumbfounded when I saw people outside, they're on the ground with a lot of bruises on their faces. They're the members of our gang. Looks like they're defeated from street fights.

Then I toured my eyes and saw big boss with the only man standing, they're fighting. And with just a snap, the man fell on the ground... unconscious. Poor man. The Big boss's high kick on the neck is really powerful. No doubts.

After that, she saw me and walked near me. She have some bruises but not on her face. Big boss faced her people, they're all lying on the ground. Wincing and moaning.

"I can't believe this! Y'all can't fight and defeat a woman??" She said irritably. She's really different now. What happened?

"Y'all need to be trained again! This is crazy! Y'all disappoint me! What will happen to us if we were in a huge fight!?" She growled. "Y'all need to be stronger! If not, I'll terminate y'all! f**k! This is s**t!" Then she turned to me. She's really different, hard and I can't read her. Her stoic face hide all her emotions.

"Umm... Are y-you done with your exercise?" I managed to ask.

She just hissed then walked inside the house.

She's careless and rude. Something happened.

I remember, she became like this when her father died in a mission. She didn't open herself for almost a year even to her grandpa and brother. I'm afraid to see that kind of Erika again. I'm worried to her.

I followed her, she's in the kitchen drinking... soju? What?? In this early morning? And she's drinking it right in its bottle.

I tried to take it but she shoved my hand away "What do you think you're doing?" She's being mean.

"It's bad for you."

"No! You don't know what's good or bad for me! And I can handle myself, I'm old enough so don't tell me what to do!" It stabbed me hard on my chest.

"What's wrong big boss? What happened?"

She looked at me with so much pain in her eyes. Her mask suddenly disappeared and now I see her weak side. She's crying hard and it hurts me seeing her like this again.

"Please tell me, you can trust me Big boss," I said as I comforted her.

She hugged me tightly and sobbed. I rubbed her back "What happened?"

"Tiffany..."

I frowned "What? What did she do?"

"She rejected me..." Her voice was broken.

"What?" Is this because of what I told her? Big boss was really smitten by that woman!

"I thought that she likes me too. I asked her to be my girlfriend but she said that she can't. f**k! She's straight!" Her voice became rough and filled with anger.

Then she pulled me away, harshly.

"I need to go away, I don't want to see her... I can't face her!" She wiped her tears and drank soju.

"Where are you going? I'll go with you," I suggested.

"f**k off!" She yelled at me "I don't need anyone! So f**k off Juniel!" Her jaw twitched. She's like angry wolf. She's scary.

Why do I feel that I'm responsible for this mess?

I can't believe that she rejected Kim Erika.

Big boss is really hurt and I don't want to see her like this.
