The domestic staff, smartly dressed in their uniforms deposited the food trays on the table. Everyone seated around the large square table exhibited shocking expressions after the bowls were uncovered.
"Is that potato?" Darwin pointed to one of the open ceramic bowls. He turned to Ivory who was still shocked at the spectacle before her. The breakfast menu was altered.
"Hmmm, I see we got new meals today," Madeline commented after a sigh.
Ivory struck her palms together and the staff who had shifted from the table hurried back.
"What's all this?" she asked in a tone that communicated how pissed she was.
Ivory shifted her gaze from one meal to the other. Elijah is going to be mad at the sight of this.
"Elijah asked the chefs to prepare the meals." one of the ladies who served the meal
