The morning dawned bright and clear though the sky to the west looked dark and foreboding with large dark thunderheads rising into the blue sky. “Let’s enjoy this sunshine while we have it,” Pete said as she ventured out of the dense thicket to feed the animals they’d left hobbled amid trees that were not quite as tightly packed but offered a bit of relief from the weather.
