“Perhaps it’s time for a change,” Eli stated as they reached the camp. “I know it’s time for breakfast,” George said with a grin. Pete snatched her fishing gear from her pallet. “Then why don’t I go and catch us some of those lovely perch from the creek while Eli fries us up some of her delicious potatoes with onions?” “I think I could eat it all raw,” George grinned. Pete scooted off toward the creek. “I shall return with fish in hand,” she called back over her shoulder. “That girl will find any excuse to put a hook in the water,” Eli said with a giggle as she began slicing potatoes into her skillet.
