(Lucas’s POV) I sat still while staring towards the radiant magenta color of the furry carpet beneath my feet. Once in awhile, I would brush my feet on it’s silky texture and admire how soft the carpet is. Without me noticing, Noah had also been staring at my shuffling feet. “Um...” I averted my gaze while I paused, thinking of something to say. I am already informed that this is what will happen if we were to meet—this suffocating silent atmosphere that made it hard to breathe.
