THIRTY-ONE
During that evening, the power to the condominium went out again. Unfortunately for LuAnn, it happened when she was in the laundry room. As she bent over the dryer, pulling out her garments, the lights went out. It wasn’t a well-lit area to begin with, so when the power went out, the laundry room was plunged into total darkness, much worse than when the lights went out recently in the clubhouse. There were no emergency lights in the laundry room.
