We have finally arrived. Land has never looked so good. So many interesting and unexpected things happened on this trip.
It saddens me to say that the young countess I mentioned before did not make the entire journey. She was a very frail young woman, and I know she is at peace at last.
I have some interesting things to tell you about the ship. Did you know that ships have prisons on them? They are called brigs.
We encountered a couple of rather large and scary storms, but Captain English got us through them with no problems. Well, at least no problems that I was aware of.
