CHAPTER 16
"How was your first day in there, hija?"
The cold, sweet liquid rolled down my throat as I sip the orange juice. The brilliant, round shape of the moon looks like a jewelry hanging in the night sky for everyone to see. Alongside the fluffy looking clouds, the shining stars are beautifully scattered all over like a dust in black canvass we called sky.
"It was great, daddy. You should've come with me here." I answered my father in the phone.
Just as I am having my dinner in the balcony of my room, my phone ring; it was my father who called.
"It's great to hear that, hija. I'm glad you like it there. Just saw me the pictures of the scenery once you'll be back, okay?" I can hear the chuckle of my old man on the other side, which made my mind at ease knowing that he's okay.
