CHAPTER ELEVEN - “THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING”

“Now they will know my pain, my despair, my shame and a whole lot of sadness. Lisa I gave you love, you threw it to the dogs, treating me worse than a dog”.
Pedro said to himself, with a more sinister smile on his face, while he rubbed his index finger and his thumb on each other.
“I haven’t even began the hurt. This is just the beginning of their pain. I will hit them so hard and so mercilessly. She said, I was a waste of time, a pauper and a good-for-nothing. Now, even at this time, wasting of their lives’ time, will be my utmost use of time”.
He continued.
Hell had unleashed a demon in the form of Pedro, as his heart, mind and soul, was poisoned by hatred for Lisa, her auntie, Josephine and her sister, Sarah. The bitterness in him, had grown so vile and sickening, so much that, the former Pedro was gone. The man who was once filled with love, adoration and as a matter of fact, worshiped the ground Lisa walked on, has become bewildered by his bitterness and anger towards his ex-wife, Lisa.
“Master? Master!”
It was Roseline, standing right there, trying to get his attention.
“Yes?!”
He finally responded. For he was lost in thought and in fulfillment of the accomplished evil plan, he had dished out to Lisa, without realizing that, Roseline has been calling out to him for the past two minutes.
“The investigating police officer, assigned to the case of Don Michaelson and The Del Montes, Detective Harry, has been calling your cell phone, but you have not answered nor returned any of his calls”.
Roseline said to Pedro.
“He has asked that, you come down to the police station to give your statement, to enable them officially open the case and carry out all necessary investigations”.
She continued.
“That wouldn’t be a problem, Roseline. Once I put myself together, we will head over to the police station”.
Pedro responded.
“Very well, Master. I best go make sure the limo is ready for you, sir”.
Roseline said, as she was about leaving Pedro’s room.
“Oh, before I forget, Roseline, great job with the organizing yesterday, with the set up. It was very nicely done, I must say”.
He appraised her.
“It’s my pleasure, Master. You are like my elder brother. I couldn’t just stand that b***h, called Lisa. I have always disliked her, because right from the very first day I laid eyes on her, I knew she was not for you and will only cause you lots of pain. I enjoyed every bit of what we did last night”.
Roseline said to him.
“Thank you, Roseline. You are as much a part of this family and a younger sister to me”.
He said.
Roseline, turned around, again, about leaving Pedro’s room.
“Ahem!” He clears his throat
“Ahhh… Roseline, are you not forgetting something?”
He said to her.
“Forgetting something, Master? I don’t think so.”
She responded.
“Roseline, kindly get the tech team that set up these cameras and microphones in my room, to come uninstall everything. We won’t want to catch a glimpse of me coming out from my bathroom, into my bedroom, bared, by mistake. Now, do we?”
He said to Roseline, with a little smile on his face
“No, we definitely don’t want that happening, Master”.
She responded with amusement.
So, Pedro got prepared, made his way downstairs, had his breakfast and was ready to make his way to the police station, to see Detective Harry and also give his statement.
“Roseline, I will take it you have had breakfast earlier? Since you didn’t join me at the table, when I had my breakfast”.
He enquired of her.
“Yes, Master. You are right. I had my breakfast earlier”.
She responded.
“Alright then. Hurry now, let’s go to the station, so we can bring this unfortunate man, called, Don Michaelson to his new home”.
Pedro said to Roseline
“His new home? Where is that, Master?”
She was curious to know what Pedro meant by that statement.
“The prison! Where else do people like him go?”
He said, while laughing.
“You are getting more mischievous, Master. I do actually like how things are unfolding, in that regard “.
Roseline chuckled as she responded to him.
The police station was not too far away from their estate. Twenty minutes later, Pedro and Roseline, arrived the station and made their way in.
“Let’s get this done and over with. I have never been to the police station, but because of this case, I have been asked to come to the station. I won’t do this again, if these police officers ever call me up again”.
Pedro said to Roseline, as they both made their way to the constable’s desk. A little while, they both were taken to Detective Harry’s office.
“Mr Pedro Del Monte, nice to meet you in person. Firstly, we have read through your petition, made on your behalf, by Miss Roseline. We have also received enough evidences, against Don Michaelson”.
Detective Harry said to Pedro
Detective Harry continued,
“However, there are due processes, we must abide by, observe and follow. We are…”.
Detective Harry, was about to continue, then, he got interrupted by Pedro
“Detective, here is a thousand euros. I have other things to take care of, than to sit and write a statement. Detective, while Don Michaelson is locked in here, do extend my warmest of regards to him and make sure he is being well taken care of, if you get my drift”.
Pedro had just made matters worse for Don Michaelson, as he indirectly asked the Detective to physically attack Don Michaelson and also let him know on whose account, these horrible things were being done to him.
“The criminal will be arraigned before a judge soon, face trial and will pay for his actions. For the statement, as long as I am concerned, you have written down yours. So, sorry for taking much of your time, Mr Del Monte, as I know you are a very busy man and have far more important things to tend with your time”.
Detective Harry was already disoriented by the money given to him by Pedro, because he doesn’t earn that much, in salary. Indeed things were not looking good for Don Michaelson, as he was, most importantly of all, guilty of the crimes. Pedro had a very wicked plan of his, which was going to send Don Michaelson to prison, regardless whether the sentence is supposed to be that serious or not.
