The fear of what Adam might do was strong enough for me to not let Patti out of my sight for most of the morning. So far nothing had happened other than Patti thinking that I had lost my mind and Jasper getting frustrated. He didn’t like my attention being on Adam, I was unmarked and he didn’t like me even looking at other men.
So far he was doing well not to lose his temper. He was acting more possessive, not letting me out of his sight and touching me constantly but that was all. At that moment I was in class and I could see him waiting for me outside the classroom, looking through the window in the door. The corners of my mouth lifted on their own accord just thinking of him.
It was a shame that Jasper’s family ruined our plans last night, I had really been looking
