Chapter 4

Logan’s POV:

Something is wrong.

It’s been almost an hour since I came out of the drawing room and yet no one has come out yet. I thought of going inside the drawing room and to check if everything is alright. But then decided against it, as it is a family matter and I cannot meddle in the family matters if the family do not want me there with them. So, I waited for some more time, thinking of every possible topic that can be discussed inside that room.

I just hope its not anything related to Zia or her marriage.

I have loved that girl ever since I have set my eyes on her. She is a true example of a beautiful soul. She is funny, smart, humble. She is everything that I ever wanted. I just wish I had the courage of asking her out.

I am just scared if she does not like me back. I am scared of rejection. I do not know what I would do if she rejects me and my love for her. Instead of getting rejected by her, I am better of loving her from the side lines. Seeing her happy, seeing her smile.

I was brought out of my thoughts when I saw Lorenzo coming out of the drawing room. I was about to approach him but stopped seeing his face. He looked angry. I think it’s better not to talk with him when he is in this mood.

But I was confused. Why was Lorenzo angry anyway?

He was usually the cheerful and the easy-going brother among Elijah, Valerio and him.

So, why is he angry?

I should wait for Elijah to come, to get these answers.

I just thought about Elijah, when he came out of the drawing room.

Remember when I told that Lorenzo looked angry. Here, Elijah looks furious, like an angry beast, who is read destroy everything on his way.

What happened inside there that made them this angry?

I went near Elijah, to make sure he was alright.

Elijah in this state is not a good thing to anyone in this world.

I need to calm him down!! 

“Elijah, brother. Are you alright?” I ask him carefully, just praying he does not kick my ass. But Elijah did not answer anything. He was just going towards the car, like a beast going to kill. I quickly followed him to the car. I need to be with him and make sure that he does not do anything that would harm him.

I quickly got inside the car before Elijah drives off, leaving me here.

Elijah started the car and drove off the Martino mansion in a high speed. He did not even care if there were people crossing the road or anything. He just drove like a mad man. At one point I was scared that today would be then end of my life. He was driving in that inhuman speed.

I have never seen Elijah so angry before.

No, I have seen him this angry. Only once. And that was five years ago.

I have seen him this angry only once in my entire life, and that is when his mother was killed.

Whatever might have happened in that drawing room, it surly has to some very serious issue. Else Elijah is not the person to lose his cool so easily.

When the speed of the car was not getting down, I decided to try to bring Elijah back to his senses.

“Elijah, slow down!! You will get us killed!! Slow down buddy!!” I shout at him hopping that he would listen to me. But he didn’t listen to me.

I think I have to brace my fate. If I die today, I will die today. The only thing that I will regret is not telling my feelings to Zia. I wish I could tell her that I love her. I wish.

After driving like a mad man for nearly an hour, Elijah stopped the car. I was thankful to god, that nothing happened to us. To me!!

God saved me!!

I was about to shout at Elijah for driving like a mad man, which may have resulted to our death. But before I could open my mouth, Elijah got out of the car, shutting the door loudly and hardly. Then I heard gun fires. I became alert thinking that there were some other people firing at us. But it was just Elijah holding the gun. Elijah was shooting at the tree little far from us. I didn’t notice he had taken out his gun.

When I got down the car, I noticed that I was at some unknown place. When I checked my cell phone, it showed no signal. There was no reception here!!

God!!

What is this man up to?

Elijah was still shooting the tree. It was obvious he was thinking that the tree was someone else.

I pray for the person about whom Elijah is thinking right now.

When the bullets were empty, Elijah just sighs and stares blankly at the sky.

He looked…. broken?

Elijah looked broken!!

How is that possible!!?

He is the strongest man I have ever known!!

Something is really wrong here!!

I go near Elijah and pat his back lightly.

“Elijah. What is the matter?” I ask softly. He did not answer for a few good minutes.

“She left,” he says softly after a few minutes.

She?

Who is he talking about?

“Elijah, whom are you speaking about?” I ask him.

“Vasilisa,” he breaths out the name.

Vasilisa?

Yes, that girl from the party. She was a sweet girl. I misjudged about her when I saw her for the first time, but when Elijah asked me to collect some basic information about her, I was surprised to see that she was such an awesome girl. She was even Zia’s friend. Aeri and Zia used to speak about her many times.

But what does Elijah mean by she left?

“Elijah please tell me everything in detail,” I say to him. He just sighs and sits on the grass. I sit beside him. After a few minutes he tells me everything that happened in the drawing room.

He told me what Lorenzo had told in the drawing room. He told me about what Valerio had done to Vasilisa. He also told about all the things Valerio made Vasilisa go through.

Hearing about those things made my blood boil. No wonder that Elijah is this angry. He Likes that girl.

I was ashamed of Valerio!! How can he do such things to a girl!! He did not have any rights to even touch her!!

She is Elijah’s girl!!

She is our queen!!

“Elijah what do you want me to do?” I ask him after being silent for some time. He just sighs before answering.

“First of all, I need you to find Vasilisa, fast. Make sure that she is safe. Then report me immediately when you find her,” Elijah says. I nod at him in response.

“What about Valerio and that girl?” I ask Elijah curiously. I could see his jaw clench.

“I have planned something really perfect for both of them. In time, I will make sure they get it,” he says coldly.

So here's the next chapter. 

i have read all your comments, and i am really grateful for your support. I couldn't reply to all the comments because of a busy first week of my college. but i tried to reply to as many as i could.

some comments were about the chapters are repeating or similar, and some were comparing this book with my other book 'The ignored Feelings'

Regarding that i have to make some things clear.

'The ignored Feelings' is my first book and I try doing some new things in that book. Lets just say like it is my experiment book. So it may get irritating. 

And coming to this book, the first few chapters may be similar to the last chapters of 'Lost and Alone'. Some thought that i will be stretching the book to long by uploading chapter with the same POV. trust me, I am not doing that here, It's Only limited to 'The Ignored Feelings' not here nor in any other book of mine. 

The only reason the first few chapters were similar to the last Chapters of "Lost and Alone' is because this is the continuation for that book. i need to set the base of the story strong so that everything will be easy to understand. 

So, that's my reason for doing what i did. 

Also, i will be uploading Karma once in two days, and continuous on Saturdays and Sundays.
