CHAPTER 23

1004 Words

It’s been a month since Luther’s remains were brought home and buried. Luna Lucinda had been mourning her son; her precious, peace-loving Luther in her room; refusing to come out of her room since Luther's cremation and funeral. Alpha Rockie had wanted Luther buried in the family cemetery in the palace grounds, but she had kicked against it, she didn't want it. Burying him would mean he would be alone in the ground; it would bring a finality she couldn't bear. Luther was already burnt, cremation wouldn't be far-fetched and she could have him around her forever. She had sent a note to Rockie, pleading and making her case on Luther's final resting place. She had sent the note through Albert. After the ceremony and the cremation, she had taken Luther's ashes and shared them into two Urns.
