Mona snuck into the room in the early hours of the morning with a huge grin on her face. She didn’t want to wake Charissa up. Unbeknownst to her, Charissa was awake. Charissa had been awake since she got off the phone with Pinto. Pinto had called to ask her if she had the deal locked down, but she had not answered in the affirmative. He informed Charissa that she should not bother because Sonka would take care of it. Scared, Charissa rushed to Mona’s room and couldn’t find her. She didn’t bother calling Mona because she knew where she was; at least that was what she thought. Lying on her bed, she heard the door to their suite open like someone was trying to be discreet. She decided to not confront Mona.
Mona on the other hand was happy Charissa was asleep because she didn’t want to spoil
