Final Battle- The gods and goddesses were separated with the two armies. Aphrodite and Athena met shortly before the fighting began. Hear the good news sister? Athena glowed her face shown victory already and a well-rested nature. Zeus’s balls Aphrodite what the f**k happened to you? Athena laughed looking at the rare sight. Aphrodite had been an emotional wreck since Ares stormed out, but pride would not let her back down. His actions lead her here, she had seen it, he could never deny what she had witnessed. She fumed when she saw the way he trained with Athena. She had seen the light hit his eyes during their secret sessions the whispers between the two, disgusting, she thought kicking at the sand beneath her feet her jealousy bubbling up to the surface. What Athena? What has you so high and mighty this early in the morning? Aphrodite said straightening her armor and absent mindedly smoothing her hair. Oh nothing saw a beautiful horse this morning inside the city quite large impressive really. Might take it for my own. She said smiling. Her eyes burning grey with electricity. Aphrodite had enough. Are we done here? She asked impatiently. Aphrodite turned and swayed back to the battlefield. Athena giggled. See you soon sis. She stated turning back to the opposing side. A victorious grin already pasted to her face. The battle raged on. Soldiers killing injuring and destroying. Paris was trying his hardest to keep it together but he was fading. A swift hit to his armor knocked him to the ground. Aphrodite raced to his side. The warrior swung his sword on the goddess she dodged he missed a fatal blow but Aphrodite’s arm was struck a scream escaped her lips deafening the warrior he dropped his sword. Ares jumped from his perch. Aphrodite bleed she covered Paris shielding him from on coming warriors. Ares stormed up to the warrior who struck Aphrodite and cut him down were he stood. Ares let out his legendary battle cry. A cry that could be heard for miles all fighting stopped. All eyes were on the couple. Ares stood above Aphrodite. Get up my love. He demanded. Aphrodite looked up. Tears coming from her eyes. No, she whispered. Have it your way. He pulled Aphrodite from Paris. He took his spear and stabbed Paris in the chest. Aphrodite screamed in defeat. She Punched and kicked and bit at Ares until he released her. How could you? She cried shock and horror cascading from her as she stared at the lifeless body of Paris. How could I not. Ares Replied. A warrior took advantage of the situation and stabbed Ares side with a spear. Ares felt the burn in his side and turned breaking the spear head off. He gripped the warrior by the throat and broke his neck. Ares ripped the spear head from his side. Turning back to Aphrodite. The war is over Athena. Ares spoke knowing where ever she was she could hear him. The fighting around the couple had stopped. Aphrodite was still hovering over Paris. Ares held the spear head in his hand. He tossed it to ground in front of Aphrodite. Something to remember me by, from this day until the end of days remember you are no wife of mine. He said quietly.
