I made up my mind to not know whatever happened between Alejandro and Sonia, but the more I look at Alejandro’s room the more I remember the more I just want to go back to my own apartment or the one in my hotel.
As soon as I watched Alonzo take his last breathes in pain, I walked out to find Alejandro, Mike, Joe, Bianca, Renzo, and even Nia waiting outside for me. The moment Mike asked me what was next and I said home, there was this relief Alejandro could not hide.
The ride home was a silent one, and although my thoughts drifted to my loss a few times I casted it on the fact that I avenged my loss. The next thing on my mind was work.
