The Hybrid Prophecy

Chapter Three

(Jack’s point of view)

   “Why have you not done breakfast for the pack yet you pathetic s**t” the Alpha of my pack shouts at me while kicking me to the ground. I try to get back up but kicks me again, in the ribs this time. pain shoots up and down the left side of my body.

   ‘Why did I have to be born in this pack?’ I think to myself as the Alpha moves away from me and sits at the table with the Luna and their daughter. I use the word daughter loosely, she really is the slut of the pack but everyone calls her Laura. I feel sorry for the sad soul that is her mate, she has not saved herself for her mate she has had almost every male wolf in this place. I slowly stand and start to make breakfast, I try to move as fast as I can but being in pain does not help make me move faster.

   “Hurry up and make my breakfast, I am staving” Luna barks at me and I have to bite my lip to stop me from rolling my eyes and saying something back to her. If I say something back that would just earn me another beating from the Alpha. I finish as fast as I can to make the whole packs breakfast, when I have set everything on the table I walk over to the sink and start washing the dishes I have used to make breakfast.

   ‘God that food smells amazing, wish I were eating some’ I think to myself as I busy with the dishes, as I finish I hear members of the pack rushing in all shouting at once. There were no way that anyone could understand what they were saying.

   “ENOUGH” the Alpha shouts making shut up at once, everyone of the pack shakes at the Alpha tone the Alpha just used but me. I do not know why but the Alpha tone has never worked on me, maybe it is because I do not have a wolf.

   “What is all the chaos about?” he asks looking the wolfs that had just ran in, none of them looked like they wanted to speak but by the look the Alpha was giving them I knew they would start talking soon.

   “Alpha we have just received word that the king and queen will be coming here tonight for the full moon” one of the pack members said.

   “What? They cannot come here” I hear someone shout, when I looked to see who had spoken out. To my surprise it was my father who had shouted out. Why would my father shout out at the Alpha? He knows that no one can speak against the Alpha.

   “Alpha you know the reason why they can not come here” my mother says calmly to him and even though they have not been having never been any sort of parents to me. I cannot help myself but feel scared for them but the Alpha does not shout at them, instead they all are just looking at each other. It is like they are having conversation that only then can hear. After a lot of time had pasted they all stop staring at each other,

   “Jack you are going to be locked in the dungeons for the rest of the day with no food or water” the Alpha says and two wolfs start to walk towards me. I could not believe what I was hearing, why am I being sent to the dungeon when I have not done anything wrong?

   “You cannot do this, I have done nothing wrong” I shout, I know I am going to get into trouble for this but I have had enough of being mistreated for no reason then their pleasure. I suddenly feel someone hit me with something in the head, making me fall to the ground. To my surprise I have no strength to speak and I cannot fight as they drag me to the dungeons. Once the have dragged me to a cell they handcuff me to the wall as the Alpha walks in,

   “You are incredibly lucky Jack, the cuffs on you are not silver because you have no wolf. So you being locked in with them around your wrists so I am going to have to beat you even harder to make up for that.” He says with a smile as he walked towards me, I know I am going to be lucky if I survive this waiting for him to do the first punch.

I woke up on a cold hard ground, the first thing I notice was that it was night-time, the second thing was the pain I was feeling that was starting to build inside me. At first I thought it was from the beating a received because it had knocked me out but I do not think that this pain is from that. It felt like a fire was burning inside of me, I heard someone coming so I tired to hide the pain I was feeling, I was not going to give these fuckers the satisfaction of seeing the pain I was in.

   “You know Jack I always found you attractive” I hear Laura say before I see her, she walks in wearing a mini skirt that looks two sizes too small for her and a top that does not cover anything.

   “If you had a wolf I would have made you my mate before I was 18 so no other she-wolf could have you” she says as she walks closer to me. The idea of having her as a mate makes me want to be sick,

   “I would have never accepted you as my mate, you are nothing but a w***e and I feel sorry for the person that turns out to be your mate because they will have to love a slut for the rest of her life” I hiss at her putting as much venom in my voice as I can. My words earned me a slap from the slut,

   “is that anyway to talk to the daughter of the packs Alpha?” she screeches at me, making my ears hurt. Laura grabs hold of my face digging her nails in making me bleed, I started to get really pissed off. Suddenly the pain that I have been feeling doubles over and I start screaming and thrashing and making Laura back away from me.

   “Go get my father” I hear Laura order over my own screams, I try to move but my chains are stopping me. I start pulling at the chains in hope of breaking them even though I am human and that there is no way that I will break these chains I still try. Just as the Alpha walks in I manage to break my chains but I fall to the floor in pain. My screams started to turn into growls and my bones started to break,

   “What is happening here?” I hear someone ask, the voice makes me look up because it sounds like I know it but when I look up at the person. I see the voice belongs to a woman that I do not know but I cannot bring myself to look away from her. It feels like I should know this person and that she can help me.

   “Go get the king now” the person orders a guard and by this I know she is queen of the wolves, I look around to see that everyone in the room are now looking scared and trying to stop the queen from being the king here but she pushes past them. I see she is trying to talk to me but I can no longer hear her. I close my eyes in hopes to stop the pain, I just wish I knew what was going on.  

After what feels like a lifetime the pain finally stopped, I slowly opened my eyes and saw the world around me looked a lot different. I tried to talk but nothing but I whine like a wolf makes came out, having heard this I look down and saw that instead of hands and legs I saw paws and fur that looked almost golden. I did not understand this, I thought that I did not have a wolf.

‘You always had a wolf Jack, it just took me longer to get out’ I hear someone say in my hear. I start to freak out and run out of the room and not look about, once I was outside I kept running. I could not help it, I did not understand what was going on. As I neared the edge of the packs territory I started to smell something, I did not know what it was but it smelled nice and weird at the same time. I started to move slowly to where the smell was coming from, the smell got stronger as I moved around the bush. I saw the most beautiful woman I ever saw,

   ‘be careful Jack’ the voice says which makes me growl.

   ‘Oh great the voice is back, why should I be careful? The woman is beautiful I want to get closer’ I reply to the voice as I move closer and closer to the woman.

   ‘Because she is a vampire and she is not alone’ the voice reply’s which makes me get ready to attack, vampires are not allowed on wolf territory. I start to growl and make myself ready to attack the woman, the woman heard me growl and turns to face me. She looks so terrified and starts to back off, for a moment her scared look wants to make me stop but then I remember she is my enemy. I run at her but before I can bite her someone pushes me away,

   “you will not hurt my princess you mongrel” the male vampire hisses at me while showing off his fangs. This is going to be fun, I can let out all my angry in these two vamps they cannot do anything to stop me, the woman screams as I jump to attack the male vamp and starts to run towards us almost as if to stop me from hurting him.

   ‘Jack stop don’t hurt mate’ I hear the voice say but it is too late I have already bit down on her neck, I watch as the woman falls to the ground and closes her eyes. When her eyes closes the worst pain I have ever felt runs though my body making me drop to the grown, I try to keep my eyes open but the darkness is overtaking me.

   “What have you done?” is the last thing I hear before the darkness fully takes over and I slip into unconsciousness.
