Going home for our first shift was so thrilling, I tried my best to explain to Bennett what he meant but the only hint he understood was that he’d see his mom wolf and he was excited, more excited than me.
We got home in time to see mom and dad coming together out of their car, whispering words and giggling like teenagers, impulsively, we all rolled our eyes before walking towards them.
