Amanda decided she had been away for so long and had to return. It occurred to her now that she hadn’t informed anybody before leaving.
She was so worried when she reached the human world that the first thing she did was go to the firm. “Wow! Amanda! Is this your ghost?” Jane was the first to speak when she got to the fourth floor.
“I’m so sorry… I know I’ve got lots of explanations to do but not now Jane”
“We were so worried about you! You disappeared without a word and we tried to find you. Girl what’s wrong? Where were you?” Jane demanded and Amanda sighed.
“I’ll explain all that later but for now it was an emergency and I had to leave. I’m sorry, I won’t do such ever again” Amanda muttered in between pants.
“Amanda… You should see Maurice, she’s worried sick” Jane suggested and Am
