Amanda asked me to come inside which made me extremely happy. I walked inside to see Bennett standing beside the door, staring at us with no expression. It was difficult to tell what he was thinking.
“Bring me a towel Bennett” Amanda instructed as she put the umbrella aside and Bennett returned later with a large towel which he handed to me, his gaze lingering on me although I never took my gaze away from him.
“Why did you wait in the rain?” Amanda demanded and I began cleaning my body. “I… I was scared when it started to rain suddenly so I had been waiting for you to return… I would’ve searched for you but I don’t know my way around” I replied and she sighed.
“There was no need for that and immediately the rain stops, I think you should leave” She replied and I nodded.
