I returned to the house after a busy day at the office with my head throbbing only for me to see Kyle waiting at the doorstep.
Anita purred with delight as my heart began thumping very hard, realizing my mate was just a few steps away from me.
I stopped, using that chance to suppress the feelings surging and Anita’s excitement. When I managed to get a grip of myself, I walked towards the steps.
“Amanda…” He stood up immediately when he saw me, his eyes glowing with delight, I had to stop myself from staring at him because he looked really radiant and happy today which only made him more handsome and dashing.
“What do you want? I’ve helped you already and I don’t think we have any business together” I muttered and his smile dimmed.
