As requested, Sophia is informed right away when Cal is killed. The dark demon wakes up with a bump on his head to find his life has been spared. Unfortunately, he cannot say the same thing for his current employer, Mr. Montgomery. The only bit of evidence left that he even existed is a scorch mark on the floor of the cabin.
There is a knock on the door of Sophia’s expensive condo. She puts out her cigarette, closes her magazine, and ties the sash of her silky red bathrobe before making her way to answer the door. Through the small peep hole she can see the dark demon standing outside of her door. Instantly she is filled with dread. She turns around and braces her back against the door and closes her eyes. The demon being here and not with Cal can only mean one thing.
