Lizzie's POV:
It's already evening and I was going to leave the office in a while. But all of a sudden, I got a call from Chris which ruined my whole mood. I was feeling relief all day as he didn't come office today but now his sudden call is making me annoyed.
Even without my will, I received the call thinking that he may have something to say about the meeting which got postponed due to his absence.
"Why you....", as soon as I received the call, I was willing to know the reason why he missed such an important meeting today but he interrupts me.
"Did you leave yet?", He questioned sounding very serious.
I can't figure why he even asking all of a sudden whether I left yet or not. He didn't even bother to know about that when he stay in his office.
