Kaden Michelson or K.M, is like the school hunk or something from what I have seen so far in the week that I been here I’ve noticed that every girl in the school seems to have some crush on him or look up to him or whatever. The guys act either afraid or have respect for him I don’t really know and I don't see why cause he's seems so full of himself from where I’m standing yes he’s good looking even though I haven’t gotten a good look of him Its easy to tell. He’s tall at about 6”5 with a body like a Greek god I’ll agree he’s hot but non of that matters to me anyways. So, after English I went straight to biology after the bell went off and took a sit near a window again cause like I said I like to zone out when there wasn’t much going on in class. Kaden usually sits behind me in the back with a girl I think is his girlfriend or whatever let’s just say there’s a lot of PDA and his friend Kyle and Mitch. The only time I usually heard The almighty Kaden Michelson speak is when talking to Mr Briggs or laughing at something with his friends well yeah girls say hi or try to make conversation but he usually smugly ignores then and walks away, like I said he's so full of himself.

Like always I had zoned out minding my own business with my hoodie up looking out the window watching the birds in the woods next to the school that I didn't hear when Kaden asked me what exactly it is that I was thinking about. I turned to find his eyes baring into me, I couldn’t help the shiver that shot down my spine at the intensity of his stare. I froze. It felt like time froze. His eyes were a deep blue like the ocean with a mix of green they were a little smaller than I thought up close. He had the most perfect i eyebrows that filled me with envy; his lips were perfectly shaped and a crimson red, his thick dark hair lay effortlessly on his head slightly disheveled he probably just passed a hand through it to maintain it and I felt a little jealous. really It put my own stubborn unmanageable African curls to shame.I think we looked at each other for a whole minute or two before he asked me again;

"what are you thinking of that's got you all zoned out princess?”

pulling me out of my thoughts, I swear in my head I said "you" but thank god I didn't say that out loud or else he'd have thought I'm like all the other girls at that school that drool all over him and that can't happen. He kept staring at me waiting for a response and when words finally came out of my mouth I just said “uh nothing" and turned to face the board and he leaned back on his chair and acted like nothing happened. So I did the same and the rest of the class went on smoothly.After biology I went to PE and even then I kept catching him looking at me like he wanted to say something or like I had gum in my hair that He wanted to remove, at some point I even found something I could see my reflection in just to check but I kept finding nothing wrong on me which made me even more irritated and tense than I already was that I just stormed out of the gym before PE was even over.

I took a quick shower in the girls showers but his eyes, his lips, his whole face was stuck on my mind whenever I closed my eyes I saw him I shook my head frantically and forgot about him the minute I closed that tap. But immediately I walked into the hall there he was standing right next to my locker looking straight at me like a crow that had just spotted its prey, he couldn't even pretend to not stare at me and I got so pissed off. I made up my mind to confront him no matter what and boy was I gonna tell him off, I rehearsed the whole thing as I walked to my locker, But just as I neared him he smirked at me, turned and walked away before I could utter a single word.

I've never ever been as mad as I was because of that smirk! I wanted to scream his name and tell him all I'd planned and maybe even throw in a little slap like in the movies, but the hall was full of other students and teachers and I'm not that gutsy so I just put my stuff in my locker like a good child and headed for the door to leave cause school was done for the day. But just before I got to the door the gym teacher stopped me and handed me a pink slip,,,,,it meant I had detention, I was so confused cause I'd been the perfect student at all my schools and never ever got into any trouble and never ever has been detained before....i mean, detention is student prison! Then I remembered walking out of PE before class was over and immediately hated that fool Kaden even more! I just dragged my angry self to detention. I got to the class I was told to go to and when I opened the door I saw all the school delinquents in one room and that fool Kaden made me one of them, I vowed I'd make sure he got it from me the second I saw him again before I was done cursing his name I just heard a very familiar voice behind me

“What are you always thinking about?"

It was so menacing and yet so sexy, I knew that annoying voice and was even afraid to turn but immediately i did there he was the villain of my story as of today, Kaden f$cking Michelson the cause of all my problems since this morning. He was again had a smirk on his face like he did in the hallway I'm sure he knew he was irritating me but was enjoying it cause he asked me again

“are you always this lost in thought, And what are you doing in high school prison? What did you do?"

The last question made me so upset I was clenching my jaw, I just wanted to introduce this fool's face to my wrist and I was so ready to risk it all when he suddenly inched closer to my face and I instantly felt butterflies in my stomach instead. His face that close to me did something to me that I'm ashamed to admit. His beautiful but yet dark eyes commanded my body in ways even I don’t understand and when he inched closer, his breath fanning my face and eyes baring into my soul like that I was left dumb struck, I just froze.

Then he flushed me the most gorgeous smile I’ve ever seen and I don’t know why but I did the same. I freaking smiled like an i***t! I thought he’d close the space between us and kiss me or damn I wanted him to so bad! I was so confused, I was both angry and turned on. I instinctively closed my eyes,I don't know why I did it anticipating his lips on mine soon; but the kiss never came. Instead he whispered in my ear and said " you're cute when you're flustered” and I heard him walking away. And I swear my body hairs just stood at attention, not because of his words but his lips so close to my skin made my stomach do somersaults. I opened my eyes both dissatisfied and relieved...I was angry but I don't know if it's cause he didn't kiss me or if it was because he had the nerve to say that. I just turned to the class thinking they all witnessed what had just happened but no one even cared they were all busy doing their own weird stuff. I took an empty chair and sat I kept remembering Kaden’s lips that close to mine and the way his breath tickled my skin the thought alone making me blush like an i***t until I took my phone and put on some loud music and put my headphones on and I just lay on the desk.

A loud bang On my desk woke me up; I didn't realize I had fallen asleep and it had been a whole two hours and only I was in the class room now. My phone went off cause my battery died and the genitor stood there looking at me like I'd taken his mop or something, I got to my senses and quickly walked out. Everyone but me had left an hour before because detention was only an hour but I'd stayed an hour longer, those fools couldn't even wake me up when the bell rang to leave! Ugh! Now it was 6pm and a little dark out and this town always gave me the creeps when it got dark.

I was lucky my house wasn't far but I’ve very heard around that a lot of people have been going missing here apparently in the past few months and my dad told me and my brother to make sure we got home before 7pm because it gets dark quickly here not that I was scared but this town is a little creepy so walking at that time alone to my house was a little disconcerting.

I had walked for about 8 minutes when I hard a girls voice come from a bush behind me, I just ignored it cause I thought I was hearing things then a heard it again and this time it was louder I could clearly hear it was a little girl crying for help I was a little scared and hesitant to check out what or who it was but I convinced myself it was okay to check cause it wasn't really late and the little girl might have been hurt. I walked and made my way through the bush and found the little girl sitting on a stone she looked around 8 or 9, she had a bruise on her knee and her leg looked swollen and was probably broken. I quickly walked to her and asked her what her name was she told me while crying that her name was Riley and I told her mine so she could get comfortable, I asked what had happened and she explained that she had been playing with her friends at a park near by and when she saw it had started getting a little dark she got on her bike to head home cause her mom told her to not stay out till dark but when she got to an alley some suckers she was so feisty calling them suckers even though she was hurt. She said they had followed her and chased her until they threw her off her bike and they disappeared when I showed up at a distance, she told me she was afraid to scream after she hid behind the bushes cause she thought I was one of the men but after I walked by she knew I wasn't and she had to scream for help.

I put my bag down and asked Riley to not worry and wait for me to get help cause I couldn't move her with the way her leg looked. She started to cry again and begged me not to leave her... I could tell she was really scared but I had to get help so I left her there and walked to back the road to see if I could get help, maybe stop a car and take Riley to the hospital but there was no one and no car in sight and the closest house was mine and it was minutes away and I couldn't leave Riley for that long. I saw a light at a distance and was about to stop it when I heard a loud scream, it was Riley.

I quickly ran to where Riley was and when I got there I saw a strange looking man with his hands around Riley's neck and shoulders, he was probably one of the men that were chasing her cause she looked terrified and worse than when I had found her. He gave me a disgusting smirk and then put his mouth on Riley's neck,I screamed "get your filthy hands and mouth off of her pervert!" Then I picked a huge stick from the ground, I was ready to charge and hit him with it if he didn't let her go but he just smirked again and this time when he put his mouth on Riley's neck she stopped crying and I saw blood drip from where he had put his mouth and I knew right then that he wasn't kissing her or licking her neck he bit her! That psychopath bit that little girl!! No he didn’t just bite her, he was sucking! Freaking draining her blood!I couldn't believe my eyes. I lost my grip and dropped the stick as I watched Riley slowly go lifeless. That monster was a vampire! A creature that's only supposed to exist in fantasy books or movies! This must be a prank but my mind knew it wasn’t as I stood there in shock and unable to do anything,but when I finally got back to my senses my legs knew I had to run but when I did turn to run, there was another man in front of me. This one looked like he wasn't playing, he didn't even have a smile to taunt me I was so scared I just moved back and stumbled on something and fell, when I looked down it was Riley's lifeless body. That's when I knew it was over for me. But I took a chance and began to beg them to not hurt me, I asked them to just let me go and I wouldn't tell what I'd seen to anyone. The guy behind me just laughed and told me not to worry cause it would all be over before I knew it.

He wasn't even done talking when he grabbed me and sunk his teeth deep in my neck and I felt my soul slowly leave my body, I slowly started losing consciousness and I could feel every step I knew this was it for me when suddenly the other guy in front pushed the one draining me off and they began to fight like wild beasts fighting for their prey. I wanted to run but my body couldn't move, I wanted to scream but all I could let out was a small cry, I managed to let out but a small whimper, the pain on my neck was excruciating and I was too drained literally; to even carry my own weight. I managed to move just an inch when I saw them stop fighting and look at me like they had decided who'd end me for good and this time I knew it was over for real, I just closed my eyes and let my life flash before me, so this was the end for me, dying behind some bush and drained like the juices of some delicious fruit. Who would find my body? Would they even leave my body or carry me to eat me whole? I didn't know. My dad would search for me and eventually give up and become depressed like he did after mom's death. Kian would make jokes about me running off to live with some cats somewhere for a while then realize I'm gone for real and not know what to do to comfort both dad and himself, then one day my rotting body will be found by some river maybe like in the movies and I'll be talk of the town everyone at school will be sad like they even knew me and that stupid Kaden will wish he didn't bother me or maybe he'll say I deserved it...he's such an ass! Then I just began to cry again until I heard a loud thud that broke me my haze and I opened my tired eyes.

When I did open my eyes I saw a third body, it was a man that looked like an animal not like the two vampires he looked bigger way bigger, angrier and definitely lot angrier. So now there were three of them? Now I'd be monster buffet? And I got angry and not even scared anymore I was just angry, but I was weak so I just lay there unable to do anything. Then I saw it, the new guy wasn't trying to eat me he was fighting for me, protecting me. I watched him rip those vampires apart like it was nothing, he was much stronger then them that they didn't stand a chance...I finally realized that he was actually a werewolf when he turned to look at me; even it was for a second I saw his eyes were a deep red. And after what I'd seen that night he didn't surprise me much. He killed both vampires like it was nothing. I watched as the two bodies turned to ash while I just lay there to weak to even move then he turned to me. His face couldn't show much cause it was dark and the fur on his face made it impossible to tell who he was but when I looked into his eyes I felt a familiar presence, he walked slowly towards me as he changed back to his human form and when I saw his face I was so shocked that shock alone could have taken me out; since the vampires couldn’t. It was Kaden freaking Michelson! Kaden my arch enemy, the jerk at school Is the wolf that saved me?There he was standing right there his eyes not red anymore they looked like flames and s**t he was naked! Yes the fool was naked but he just stood there like it was normal. I had to concentrate really hard on his face instead of what stood between his legs and me being on the ground made it all The more worse, so I closed my eyes again until I heard him say the words that made me forget to even be afraid of him the simple words made me feel warm and assured and when he said "you'll be okay Laika” I felt a reassurance that I hadn't felt in a while and I couldn't help but smile. He got closer. I didn’t try to move away I felt safe. He looked at my neck for a while and I saw his smile fade, he them put his hands around me and carried me bridal style and I all of a sudden felt weak again, my eyes began to shut on their own accord and then I let the darkness consume me.
