Being dragged into the dark by wolves who hate your guts teaches you real fast how fragile your life actually is. Cold rain lashed against my face as two massive rogue wolves shoved me into the back of a rusted industrial van. My hands were bound tightly behind my back with heavy plastic zip ties that bit deep into my skin. "Get your filthy hands off me!" I screamed, kicking wildly at the dark figures climbing in after me. "Shut your mouth, human!" one of the rogues barked, slamming the van doors shut with a deafening metallic bang.
