Judith POV
I was totally speechless as I saw Elijah and Steve engaged in a staring match. I didn’t know what to do to end this awkward situation between the two of them, especially Steve. I never saw him this angry before.
Elijah was still standing by the door, folding both hands in front of his chest.
“What are you doing here?” Elijah asked first towards Steve. His voice was stern.
Steve let out a mocking chuckle at him. “I am the one who’s supposed to ask you that.” He then grabbed my shoulder, pulling me into his chest.
“What are you doing coming to my girlfriend’s place uninvited, Elijah?” Steve said in return, and the searing look that Elijah gave from his eyes could easily make a hole in Steve’s face.
I silently sent an eye signal to him to not tell Steve the whole story,
