The officers all knew they were supposed to wait until the captain gave his orders before breaking into the den. They were station on the perimeter of Papa’s home and on the outside of his front doors with earpieces in, waiting for Captain to give them the go ahead sign.

Alex was one of the officers stationed at the front door though Captain had put up a fight about that fact. Alex was too involved with the situation, and with Raven, to be that close to it all, but Alex was not going to let it all go down unless he could be as close to Raven as possible. Raven didn’t know it but Alex had fought that fact hard and fast with the captain claiming that if he wasn’t allowed to be the closest to her, then he was going to take Raven away and hide her.
