The night crawled by with the kind of Torment that made sleep impossible. It wasn't just noise– it felt like war, from her loud moans, shrill laughter and the rhythmic thumping on the wall. Every sound sounded like stab wounds against my ears and it burned. I tossed and turned, I also pulled the pillow over my head but it wasn't working. Instead it felt like they were having s*x right inside my skull.
By the time morning came, my eyes were all swollen, dark and puffy– and it wasn't just from the sleepless night, but from the stupid feeling which occurred over and over again.
