My eyes glared the moment I heard the words, was he joking.
“You are joking,” I laughed.
“I'm not.” Ezekiel said calmly.
My expression lowered, slowly pulling my hands out of his. The car grew silent.
“It's fine if you don't want to meet them.” He said, breaking the awkward silence, his hands grabbed mine back and this time he squeezed them softly.
“You can stay in the car, I'll have the driver keep you company.”
I was still silent, like my mind had its own pondered thoughts
“I'll go with you.” I finally said.
