Story 6 - THE HOT FIVE.
The bell rang sooner than I had expected.
Or at least that was what I thought.
One moment, I was in the class listening to the professor's lecture, even though my mind was occupied throughout the lecture. Thinking of the trouble I might have gotten myself into.
Now it was break time. The class quickly got empty as the students hurriedly rushed off to get lunch, but I wasn't in the mood. I was feeling down, nervous and scared.
“Hey Val, aren't you going out for lunch?” Nicole's pitched voice sounded before I saw her.
“You can go first, I'll catch up with you guys later.” I replied, raising my head to meet her gaze.
“Okay, see you then. Be quick though.”
“Sure” I managed to smile back.
