Ethan propped his legs up on the table and slid his hands behind his neck. "So last time we talked, we were on the first two pages."
I rolled my eyes and shifted closer to him. He stiffened, but when I flipped the sketchbook open, he relaxed.
"I just sketched out more landscapes."
His hand dropped to trace the horizon. "Did you draw the picture I gave you?"
I flipped towards the page and he whistled when he saw it. "Holy f**k, girl."
I shrugged and smoothened the paper. "I couldn't draw it well because you… left, but I drew the rest from memory."
He leaned in closer and I caught a whiff of his scent before he straightened. "You did amazingly well, Aryanna."
