I got to her first, catching her in my arms before she hit the floor. Zayn was at my side in an instant, touching her forehead. “f**k, she is burning up.”
Ian was frozen in shock, his eyes trained on her pale face. I nudged Zayn, whose eyes flickered to our brother. “Ian?”
“Is she dead?” His voice was barely a whisper. I felt my heart shatter and I got to my feet, trying to still my racing heart.
Zayn grabbed his hand and jerked him forward. "Snap out of it." Ian blinked twice, and when he turned to me, his usual serious mask was back on.
"Take her to my room. I would meet you both there."
