Ian’s POV: The first thing I noticed when my eyes open was the silence. I rolled over, and the silence greeted me. It was still dark, so dark even my night vision couldn’t help me see around. That was when I noticed the second thing. Something was wrong. Something was strange. It was like I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, only I didn’t know when it would. I rubbed the back of my neck, trying to pin my mind on what it was. Whatever it was. The silence around was not helping and worry churned in my stomach. I let my eyes wander around the room, looking for anything out of place. There was something out of place, and I was going to find it. I threw off the covers and placed my feet on the floor, and something clicked. What’s the time? My eyes strayed to the blinking red lights
