Aryanna’s POV:
The first thing I registered as I opened my eyes was the fact that I felt refreshed, like I had been reborn even.
I knew I was forgetting something, but I pushed it to the back of my mind and basked in the feeling.
Nothing mattered, but for the first time in a long time since this week started, I felt incredibly at peace, and I turned over to see Ian.
He was sleeping, and it struck me how at peace he looked. I could see the dark circles under his eyes and I reached forward to brush his hair out of his face.
He looked tired, even in sleep and I knew that this week was hard for all of us.
His breath came out in a shudder, but he didn't stir. It was odd how the many times I had slept over with him, I had still never seen him asleep until now.
