Heat was normally something that every Omega looked forward to, especially if they had mates. But some heats just sucked, not only because of how painful they were but because of how much emotion they drained out of you.
After Shelby left, all three of them went psycho. Ethan stayed by my side, still holding my hand, but Zayn and Ian immediately went to work to start building a nest.
"It's not our mom's nest we are using," Ethan said, trailing his fingers up and down my hand.
It took more effort than I was used to, but I smiled. "I know."
He laughed softly and leaned over to bury his face in my neck. "Your scent is driving me crazy, sweetheart."
I felt my breath hitch and before I could say anything, his teeth nipped my ear. It brought his scent much closer to my nose
