Ian’s POV:
Being an Alpha meant you took on a lot, and you had to deal with it no matter what. I groaned, rolling my neck to release the kinks.
My assistant, Kayla, walked in, her head bowed. It was normal with her. She was an Omega, and that fact, the difference in our denominations, seemed to make to her scared of me.
I had always tried to make her feel safe with me, and calm, but it never worked. She only seemed to get more scared.
"Your schedule is clear, sir." She said, without lifting her head. We had worked together for over two years, and I didn't know what her eye color was. I had my suspicions, but I wasn't sure.
"Thank you." She bowed, and scrambled out of the room. I groaned and picked up my bag. I met her at gate, and she was fumbling with her bag.
