I remained close to Caspian as we stood in the hallway, my fingers still curled around the front of his shirt. I could feel the tension running through his body, and even though he was trying to hide it, I knew something was wrong. The way he stared towards the entrance made it obvious that his mind was already somewhere beyond those walls, probably thinking about the person who had entered the territory without being detected.
“I don't understand,” I said, looking up at him.
“How can someone enter this pack without being noticed? You have warriors everywhere.”
