Chapter- 49 " Iam a monster myself "

    Apart from the hot weather and clear blue sky it was another day for the four of them, Al and Iri went to work, Jace got a bit better so he decided to search around but only around the area, and Ella stayed at home as usual, working with her laptop for a while than later taking rest in the garden to enjoy the cool evening.

" How was your day? " He sat himself down pulling the other chair closer to her and facing her. Caressing her hair softly.

Ella enjoyed his touch and said softly, " Un, it's so warm, the weather is perfect today. How was your work? "

Al said, " That's fine, if they give word to remain low than I have no reason to go out of my way to kill them. "

Jace continued, " The old man said that he will visit to negotiate further about the matters. I'm sorry Ella I told him about you and he only decided to help after that. " He made a troubled and apologetic face.

Ella assured him that it was fine and that it was good that he could get more help.

Al was not that happy but since Ella agreed, he did not bother about it anymore, " Fine then, we'll talk the next time he got here. "

They went to their own rooms to rest but Al stayed behind, Ella noticed and asked him, " Your not going up yet? "

Ella agreed and wished him good night, Al gave her a tight hug and let her go rest. After making sure that she was inside he got rid of the smile on his face and went out silently.

Ella pinched his face and broke the hug, her face was fully painted with blush but she acted mad to hide the embarrassment and said, " So vulgar, go away. "

She walked towards her room without looking back again and Al wished her a good night cheerfully hugging the blanket given by her in his arms.

He also went to his room and sat down on the bed, he didn't told Ella about the frequent visits from the demons because if she knew she would ask to join him in his night hunts or move by herself to avoid bringing troubles to others so he didn't want to tell her.

Anything that would put her at a risk was something he could never afford to do or even think about ever again.
