Chapter- 59 " Show off"

Ella stood in front of the mirror looking like a bullied cat while Iri sat on a chair by the side, holding out to her a short black skirt covering just her thighs and a black loose shirt with lace sleeves.

Ella whined, " Do I have to wear that, it's too short. "

Iri, " It's okay, just wear it. This is considered as long these days, you don't have to worry about it. You'll look good in it. "

Ella looked at her pitifully and trying to defy her she said, " I don't want to wear it, beside there are many other dresses that I can wear to make me look beautiful. "

Iri sighed, " Ella, all the dresses on your closet are of the same design with the same lengths. It'll be fine, just try out this one. "

Ella, " It's okay even if i don't look beautiful, I don't have anyone to impress. "

Iri smirked, " Are you sure? If you keep on being the old you Al might just be seduced by some young sexy woman and then it'll all be your fault. " She joked about it half laughing.

Ella bitterly thought about it, " If he ever tries to cheat on me, I'll kill him before he can ever move on with them. "

Iri sighed, " To avoid that you should make him jealous and possessive of you so that he'll never want to leave you. Grab him and hold him in the palm of your fingers. "

Ella knew that she was just messing with her and that Al would never even though of such things but she still let it get to her and snatching the dress she went to put in on, taking a black heels with some crystal glitters on it.

Days back, Minerva visited them in the evening when they were all sitting around the house and invited them to her birthday party that was going to be held at the top floor of the best hotel in the city.

She specially asked Iri and Ella to go with her as she had no close friends beside them. The girls gladly agreed to her invitation and they excitedly made plans for the day. Ella at first wanted to refuse but since it was her birthday she didn't want to make her feel sad so she decided to do it just for a day.

They talked about the day and the events and themes and Iri and Minerva secretly made a custom designed fress for Ella. Iri got all the measurement and Minerva specially asked a designer to design it for her.

On the day, Iri sent Al and Jace off alone first before them. The boys refused at first saying it was not safe for them girls to go alone and at lease to let them drop them off till Minerva's house but with Iri's constant nagging they finally gave in but with the condition that they will be allowed to go seperately only if they took two reliable guards with them whom they trust.

Iri agrees and the boys reluctantly left. Ella asked Iri what was the use for all that when they could have just gone together but Iri shut her and dragged her to the room giving her a make over.

Back to the current situation, Ella slowly stepped out holding the end of her skirt uncomfortably. He straight hair was let down freely and the dress paired with the heels made her look stunning.

Iri smiled and chuckled evilly, " Gorgeous, perfect, someone is gonna be so whipped tonight. " She mumbled the last line to herself.

Ella asked her, " What? Shall I change it? It's kinda uncomfortable. "

Iri stood up patting her shoulder and said, " Don't worry, you look beautiful, you will look more beautiful than any of the of the stars and celebrities that are going to be present today. You're just not used to it, chin up. "

Ella said with a small hope, " Shall I try other stuff too? "

Iri saw through her and smirked, " It's late there's no more time for that, let's go. "

She grabbed her bag and they left. Both of them looked stunning, Iri wore a red tight dress that start from her chest reaching her knees with a slid on the side thah reach up to her thighs,it fitted her curvy figure perfectly and she knows about it which adds to her charm even more.

Ella didn't look anything less, her slim figure and clear skin made her look good in anything she wear, she was just not interested in making herself doll up and look pretty.

The two reached Minerva's house, a man invited them in, " Miss Ella and Irene? "

The two confirmed and he smiled, " Come in, miss Minerva has told me about you, she'll be done in a while. "

Just then Minerva came out, " You guys have arrived? Come in, I am also done. "

They wished her happy birthday and said, " You look so beautiful. "

She laughed and said, " Thank you, you guys look excellent as well. Oh and Ella I see you're rocking the dress. "

Ella looked at them feeling betrayed, " You were in this too? " She looked at her suspiciously.

Minerva smiled, " Oh darling, don't be mad, it looks amazing on you and since it's my birthday please do me this favour? " She asked her knowing that if she brought up her birthday Ella would forgive her.

And true to it Ella sigh and admitted her defeat. The three of them got into Minerva's limo and drive away.

Minerva asked, " What's with the guards? Ah, was it the guys? So overprotective aren't they? "

And Iri said, " Yes, tell me about it. But at least I have it better compared to Ella. " She chuckled.

Ella also smiled and Minerva said, " Oh ya, I heard about how he doesn't even let people fantasise about you."

The two look at her with a questioning face and she chuckled, " you see a guy in the company talked about how pretty you must be to get the boss like him and maybe your relationship was just fake to show the society but Aldri heard about it and you know what? He let the guy work over time for the whole week. It was hilarious and no one dared to talk anything about you from then. "

The two laughed at the story and Ella blushed with a smile on her face, him going that far for her was making her feel some tingles in her heart.

At the venue the boys were all sitting in a corner of the room, it was the usual group with a new guy introduced by Simon.

They other guests were standin around the room in pairs or groups talking among themselves.

Simon looked around and asked the guys, " Has any lady got any of your attention today? "

Al, Jace and Dane didn't show any interest in anyone, they didn't even bother looking around let alone anyone specific.

Rexi, the new guy brought by Simon said, " Nah, I don't think anyone in here is good enough to score yet. "

At that moment the announcer announced the arrival of the star of the day and everyone looked towards the door.

The door opened and Minerva came in with Ella and Iri by her side. They got the breath of every person in the room making an epic entrance.

The crowd cheered wishing Minerva good well wishes but the guys in the corner remained quiet.

Simon turned to look at them and Rexi spoke up, " I have found her, the perfect woman, how come I have never seen her before? She's so beautiful. "

The other three turned to look at him as well but instead of a curious one like Simon's it was a glare. Simon also knew that each of the guys had taken the three girls so he sweated feeling nervous and turned to Rexi, " Which one? " On his mind he was asking, ' which is the women, whom among the hands of these men are you going to die on? '

Rexi answered, " The girl with the long black hair and black dress. Do you know her? Does she work in the industry or somewhere else? That girl is the one I have to score today. "

Simon thought in his head, ' Ah, so you're gonna die in the hands of Aldri, why do you have to choose the worst one to die on the hands of my dear friend. '

Al growled, " Don't even think of it, ' that girl ' is my woman. " He stood up and walked away towards Ella.

He saw her look so beautiful in that dress, it was giving her beauty a new light. But he didn't like the fact that the dress showed much of her skin which he himself had never seen before, it was eating him from the inside.

As he got closer he saw that the guys were walking up to her trying to get her attention and for a brief moment she even smiled at them. He frowned and speed up.

Some girls were calling out to her trying to get his attention and introducing themselves but he walked passed them not even giving them a glance.

He walked up to her and pulled her to him holding her waist. She was startled at first but seeing him she was relieved and leaned on him placing her hands on his chest.

She was feeling uncomfortable with all the strangers coming up to her, Al understood and the fact that his presence made her feel relieved, the fact that she choose him out of all the people who came up to her made his heart itch and his heart dance but on the outside he put on a smug face, smirking at the other guys.

To further show off their close relationship he leaned down to her ears and whispered, " Shall we go sit in the corner? "

Ella nod and turned to Iri and Minerva to tell them but they were already looking at her with a grin in their faces and giving her a thumbs up.

She sighed with a smile and walked away with Al grabbing a champagne on the way.

They went towards the guys in the corner, Ella greeted them, " Hey guys. "

The other also greeted her back with some compliments, specially Rixe who was looking at her in awe.

Ella turned to look at Jace before she sat down and said, " Are you trying to make the same mistake again? Have you not learn yet? "

Jace frowned and stood up," I have. " He walked towards the crowed and towards Iri who was prey to every guy in the room.

Ella chuckled and sat down with Al, " Guess he learned. "

Even after sitting down he didn't let go of his hold on her, he didn't want to bring her here but he also wanted to show some certain guy that she was his woman so he came.

Seeing them sit so close Simon said, " Show off. " To Al and looking at Ella he asked, " Ella, why did you choose such a person out of all the good one's? He is mean and had such a bad attitude. "

Al shrugged him off but Ella laughed softly and said, " I know right? " Al looked at her with a pout and betrayed eyes.

She didn't need to look at him to feel his stare, she leaned on him and looking at Simon she said, " But I guess, it's more fun training bad guys. "
