Chapter- 32 " did you miss me? "

         " Edward, how... How are you still... " Ella stammered and was left speechless in amazement.

She kept her head low frowning and lift her hand trying to say something but stopping halfway.

Al took her hand which was hanging on the air and pulled her some inches closer so that their bodies collide with each other softly.

Ella, surprised by his sudden behavior turned to him timidly. No matter how many years she had lived, he will always be someone she admires, someone she respects, someone that is above her and someone she believes she should bow down to.

Seeing her timidly Al was not really happy but it reminded him of her past days where she timidly follows him around. He gave her a reassuring smile and said in a calm voice, " Don't be scared we'll get out of here soon. "

She simply nodded but inside her head she was dying from nervousness, ' I'm not scared of them, I'm scared of your behaviour, the surprise attacks are killing me.... Ahhh'

Some demons who heard Al's words sneered, "what do you mean 'get out', both of you aren't leaving here until we make sure you're dead. "

The younger ones tried to rush in but was stopped by some older leaders ordering them to stop and not to be so rash, adding, " Don't approach him carelessly". They were standing in small groups, each leaded by a stronger man with no woman in sight.

A young hot headed group led by a young leader protested, looking at his allies alert and scared faces saying, " why are you all so scared of him, the people who talked of him must have exaggerated it, there's no way he can win against this many people. "

His group agreed with him and they shouted and rushed in to attack Al but with only a swing of his sword, they were all blown backwards. Clearly their strength were unmatched with Al, he didn't even break a sweat and just remained back to his previous posture.

Al raised his head up slightly and looked down at them, " What a shame, is this all the demons now are capable of?" His aura clearly oozing of dominance and power.

The elders who had witness his strength in the previous life knew that he was not a man to mess with and they took a step back. With his show of power just now, it was clear that he was still just as strong and powerful as before.

Edward smiled and said, " Well than, guess this will be all for today. Until next time princess. "

He turned to walk away, Al tried to stop him but was interrupted by the other demons who were stronger than the ones before. Ella without her sword didn't have much power and couldn't attack others as well as before.

Al killed most of the demons there and because of his immense power combined with his enemies, the cave couldn't take the pressure and began to grumble.

Al, Jace and Ella safely got out of there before the cave fully grumbled as most of the demons perished inside.

Outside the cave, Al looked at Ella and asked worriedly caressing her face " Are you okay? Are you hurt? "

Ella who didn't know how to react to his sudden actions simply shook her head showing that she wasn't injured.

Al put his hand down knowing it was making Ella uncomfortable and looked at the other person with them.

Jace looked down and didn't know what to say, he felt guilty both for betraying Al and also for endangering Ella.

He spoke up, " I'm sorry for all the things I've done to both of you but I would like a chance to meet Iri. Please! " He begged with his head down.

Ella answered first, " I don't mind, you have shown yourself and proved your sincerity towards her so you can meet her if you want but I have one condition. "

Jace awaited for a serious condition with a serious expression and Ella continued, " You have to come clean to her, tell her about everything and it will depend on her whether you guys remain as friends or not. "

Ella though reluctant found his words reasonable and thought that it will also be safer for Iri to come back to his place instead of their house which was a bit on the outskirts, far from human eyes and easy target place for the demons.

They went back to his house and the maid and housekeeper there came out and greeted them. Sira noticed that Al didn't looked that well and asked if he was sick but he said that he was just a bit dizzy and will be fine in a bit.

He told Sira to take care of the quest and prepare the quest rooms, Sira agreed happily, this was the first time for anyone to use the quest room as no quest other than his parents came there and even if they did, they always went back right away.

Besides it is not just a quest this time but also a woman and by the looks of it, she seemed close to Al so she was feeling excited.

Jace remained in the living room and Ella took Al to his room at his suggestion. She went up the stairs to his room supporting him with her shoulder as he leaned on her.

When they arrived his room Ella laid him down on his bed and after telling him to rest she was about to go out but he grabbed her wrist while lying with eyes closed.

She asked with worry in her tone, " Do you need anything? "

He remained silent for some second and after that said, " How have you been Ella? "

She was a caught a bit off guard by the sudden question, " Fine, I've been living fine my prince. "

Al laughed sounding a little down, " Why don't you call me Al like you used to, I prefer that. "

Even if he couldn't see her she still nodded her head and said, " Okay, I will do that. "

He spoke up again, " Ella... This time I won't leave you alone anymore, I'll protect you. "

She didn't understood him clearly but still nodded her head and said again, " Okay. "

He chuckled a little finding her timidity and obliviousness cute, he opened his eyes but instead of looking at her he fixed it on the ceiling and asked with a smile, " Did you miss me? "

Ella's was a little flustered and said, " I did, I was wishing for your safe return I'm glad you came back safe. "

He teasingly asked, " Only for my safety? Did you not wished to see me fast? "

She was reluctant to answer that question and he laughed, " I saw the paintings of me at your house and thought you really must have really missed me. "

He suddenly sat up at the downside of the bed still holding her wrist seeing her flushed face and smiled, " Haha... Okay I'll stop teasing you." He lift her hand, leaned his forehead down to touch the back of it and said, " I missed you Ella. "
