Chapter- 10 Shall we, my lady

The sun was already in the middle of the sky when Ella woke up, still in her night gown she walk down the basement.The white light embraces the brown room and it's years old antiques, her clear eyes look around the room and set itself upon the smooth wooden hairpin of dark red color on a soft case, kept like a treasure within the glass, and for her it a treasure.

         , , , ' , . . .

          She lifted the glass and took out the hairpin, with a small smile on her face which showed some regret, some love and some sadness she ran her slender fingers through the hairpin and with it in hand, she left the basement.

         Iri had left early saying she will meet Ella later at the event as she had work. Eating some readymade food that was in the fridge she sat in her room's balcony, remembering what Iri said on some days before when she was with Jace and his friends.

          Iri had told her about their conversations of that evening and asked her whether she was the one Al was talking about as his 'special date'. When Ella said it was, she squealed shouting ' I knew it' and went on praising her as she always did. Ella knew that Al was saying it just for the sake of it but she couldn't deny that she was a bit happy hearing Iri talk about the way Al said those words.

          Than, she also remember that, that very night on her way home from the flower shop some of those lackeys had been following her. In order to avoid fighting at home or public places she drove into the nearest parking lot which was nearly empty.

          She got off the car and looked at the people or she could say the demons who were standing in front of her.

          "What's this, didn't you guys say that that would be the last time you went after me? ". Ella calmly said her words with her eyes which were glaring lazily at them.

          " Well it was, this time our master was kind enough to tell us to warn you" They were smirking, looking down at her.

    Ella had a bad feeling to what they were gonna tell her but she still asked " About what".

Them: " Leader said " I won't hurt you but I can't say that I won't hurt that man who is now only a defenseless human". Well that's .... ".

      Before they could finish Ella released her power and grabbed the throat of the one who just said those words and push him against the car shattering the mirror and the force of her power shattered the nearer ones as well.

     " Tell this to your leader and all those on your side, ' I don't care who came after me or hurt me but if you dare lay your hands on him there will be no more of your races on in this world.' " Ella spoke through gritted teeth in anger.

        The other were ready to attack her but the one who was being grabbed in the neck by Ella barely managed to say ' Stop' with a low panting voice. And when Ella manage to control her anger and loosed her grib the guy spoke again " Let go, out goal this time is just to warn you".

       Ella let go of him and took a few steps back and in a threatening voice she said " Scram back into you holes and tell your leader to come to me personally instead of getting other people involved."

       They stare at her angrily saying 'you'll pay for this' and left. Ella watch them leave and closing her eyes she took a deep breath, got into her car and drove home as well.

           After  she finished eating she went it to clean it up and got back on the balcony to back on her chair thinking about these things and look at the half drawn painting kept on the wooden easel stand. She went to it, took upon the painting brush on her hand and continued the work until the last sun rays of the day hit her face, she set down the brush and covering the paint with a cloth she went in.

          She took a long shower and lazily got out of the bathroom, dried her hair and walk towards her wardrobe. There were variety of dresses and colors but none of it looked bright, she took out a red dress and put in on.

    It was a one of a kind fire red dress, with four leaf like structure forming a deep cut in the front as well as in the back and connecting in a knot like structure by the soldier. The cut end just by the waist by a red satin string going back in a circle and from then it flow down gracefully, covering the stunning silver studded black stiletto forming a fold by the end of it. Along with it she carries a small silver clutch which gave off a little sparkle, and pair it with a sparkling white gold necklace with a small rose in the heart of it.

       Her hair left down freely in small curls nearly reaching her hips and complimented by a red shaded lipstick matching her dress with a clean one line eye liner.

       She looked at herself in the mirror and thought that it's been a long time since the last time she dressed herself up this much. She took her fone and looked at the time getting ready to set out.

      Before she could get her car keys, the doorbell rang and she went to open it saying to herself ' It can't be Ella si who is it? such a bad timing'.

      However the moment she opened the door she no longer thought so as the person standing showed up at a perfect timing and couldn't be more accurate.

      Al stood there at the front door wearing a satin black shirt, black tie, 3 piece maroon suit, a waistcoat, blazer, pants and shoes. He didn't put on any accessories other than the silver watch on his wrist. He looked stunning in every angle but right now he stood still staring at Ella and lost in thought.

     Ella also stood there looking into his eyes and for a moment lost her breath but she quickly caught it and said "you came".

     Al tilt his head a little to the side and gave her a charming grin saying " Well I couldn't wait for my date to come find me can I? Or was it a bad timing? ".

Ella: Smiling " Nope your timing could be more accurate, please wait a sec let me grab something. Be right back"

Al: " Sure, take your time"

        Ella walk back to her room took her staff and with a fiery glow turn it into a ring and wrap itself around her index finger. She used to use it as a staff because turning it into a staff from the takes some power which even the human eyes can easily see and so to avoid exposing herself as well as to protect herself quickly when she got attacked she used it as a staff.

     She put her phone into her clutch and went out the door. "Thanks for waiting"

    Al was standing at the steps with this back turned toward the door and when Ella got out he turned back said in a gentle voice " My pleasure and sorry for the delay but I must say you look gorgeous ".

     Ella gave him a small laugh and complimented back "Thank you and I must say the same to you Mr. Aldrich, you look stunning ".

      " Well thank you but we agreed on calling me Al remember?" He said making a face like he was hurt.

      Ella laughed again and said " Sorry... Al.. Hehe".

      Al gave her a satisfied nod and said " Well than, Shall we, my lady? "

       Ella took the arm stretched out for her and walk towards the car.

Al: " Let me" He said when Ella went to open the car's door and he opened it for her.

      Ella said "thank you" Smilling and bowing her head a little.

    They got into the car and drove away.
