Caught In The Woods Robyn was hiking, coming out of a thick woods to a clearing where she spotted a rustic cabin. Smoke curled from the chimney into the cerulean sky like a picture out of a fairy-tale. She half expected to find Red Riding Hood’s wolf or Gretel’s crone appear from the gentle hut made of wood and stone. There was a chopping block to one side of the rugged home, a barrel to catch rainwater and a pump connected to the bowels of the earth where the fresh water ran. Hot, she primed the pump and let the cool liquid pour over her hands. Making a cup of one hand, she drank, then splashed some across her face.
