Kael’s POV “Are those all the rogues?” I asked as Ethan threw one of them to the ground, his claws still out, eyes burning with that same feral light we all shared when the adrenaline refused to fade. He exhaled hard, scanning the field. The smell of blood and burnt earth lingered thick in the air. I have to admit, Irina is a badass. Ethan told me she was the one who started the whole fire by using some gas leak. If my Alpha somehow snatches her, he is in for a wild ride. “Looks like it,” Ethan muttered, wiping a streak of crimson off his cheek. “But I can’t sense Aiden or—” “Irina,” I finished for him, glancing around. The smoke still curled upward in lazy tendrils, and the silence that followed the battle was almost too heavy. I frowned. “Have any of you seen Alpha Aiden and Irina?”
