A Tribute to my Angels

In the quiet of the night where the stars softly shine,

They gleam in the sky as I whisper your name,

Divine in dreams,

You appear,

My five angels so bright,

Guiding my heart through the shadows of night.

Angels above me,

With wings spread so bright,

Keeping me safe like a shield in the night.

Their whispers surround me,

A comforting light,

Guiding my heart,

Making everything right.

You carry my love with the memories aside,

In moments,

We cherish where our dreams collide.

Through laughter and tears,

Our hearts open wide,

Together,

We journey with love as our guide.

Cancer beat you,

A cruel touch.

January 7th, 2017,

A day I'll never forget,

For you are with me always,

In every sunset.

My memories of you,

In country and weston,

Line dancing to "Working Man,"

Joy in every glance,

Singing "Third Finger, Left Hand,"

Lost in the dance.

Grandad watched with a smile,

Pride shining so bright,

Helping you clean the bar,

Mornings filled with light.

Though you're gone from this world,

Your spirit remains,

In every song and memory,

Love forever sustains.

Pneumonia's cruel touch.

Your lungs filled with sorrow,

A battle you fought,

January 8th, 2019,

A day I won't forget.

My memories of you,

In games we would play.

Winning most of them,

Your laughter so sweet,

Taking my dolls to the park,

Those moments were neat.

Making my favourite tea,

Such warmth in each brew,

Sharing a keema madras from Rajas,

Just us two.

Though you're gone from this life,

Your love still shines bright,

In every cherished memory,

You're my guiding light.

A heart attack's cruel touch.

November 3rd, 2021,

A day I won't forget,

For you are there with me,

In memories we set.

Going for breakfast each morning at the café,

Sitting at the end of the bar,

Keeping the world at bay.

Singing on karaoke,

Your applause filled the air,

Every note I sang,

I felt your love and care.

You may not have been my blood,

But you were my guide,

Forever a grandad,

With love that won't subside.

In every laugh and moment,

Your spirit stays near,

In my heart,

Dear Grandad,

You're always here.

Uncle Danny,

Taken away too early,

Your heart gave out,

Such a tough touch.

January 30th, 2023,

A day I won't forget,

For you are there with me,

In every moment we met.

Going to wrestling,

You'd shout "yay" for the heels,

While I'd shout "boo,"

Sharing our love for those reels.

Helping you cook,

You'd say I was doing it wrong,

But sometimes I'd make you food when work kept you long.

Helping with shopping,

I'd sneak half your treats,

Getting the bus to town,

Our routine was so sweet.

You'd buy me a hot drink to keep me warm on my way,

In every cherished memory,

You're with me each day.

Taken away too soon,

Your battle heavy,

It showed.

July 13th, 2024,

A day I won't forget,

In Blackpool,

I was wishing I could say goodbye yet.

Two days before my 18th,

A day you longed to see,

To take me to the pub for my first drink,

Just you and me.A day forever etched in my heart,

You're always near,

My memories of you,

In every laugh and cheer.

Singing karaoke,

Your voice filled the air,

Singing "My Way," a song sung with flair.

Creating your own versions,

Dancing like a nutter,

In my heart,

Your spirit shines,

Now and forever.

Each tear that I shed,

Like rain from the skies,

Is a tribute to you,

Where the love in my heart never lies,

In the echoes of laughter,

In shadows of pain,

Your spirit surrounds me like a soft,

Gentle cuddle,

So I'll cherish the moments the joy and strife,

For you are my angels,
